My friend Sasha met him on an I.D. magazine shoot awhile back and wanted to see him play live. I am glad that I tagged along.
Trained with Itzhak Perlman at the Perlman Music Program and the Juilliard School, Bin made his international debut at the 42nd Annual Grammy Awards when he was only 12 years old. Bringing classical music to the mainstream, the violinist has some serious fans like Madonna.
Bin’s original storytelling through music, character playing and fashion sensibility moved me deeply. And I bet it won’t be long before heavy hitter SHOWstudio lures him into one of its aspirational concoctions. Watch out Gaga!
