MUFE
I decided to swing by Make Up For Ever this afternoon because I’ve been obsessed with their ‘Aqua’ line. The store is located on E. 12th Street near Union Square and Daryl Roth Theatre where the amazing Fuerza Bruta is being held at. Aside from the in-store reno that was happening at full speed, I really enjoyed my shopping experience.
These are the products I picked up and can’t wait to try:
Aqua Waterproof Cream Eye Shadow in Black, Aqua Creamliner in #4 (teal) and in #2 (brown), Aqua Cream in #1 (metallic dark gray) and #13 (shimmery beige), Aqua Waterproof Eyeliner Pencil in #14L (shimmery white) and #23L (shimmery champagne), and last but not an aqua, Lip Matifying Cream.

THE BEGINNING
My mother bought me a red lipstick from the dollar store to play with when I was about 10 years old. I remember liking its tacky floral plastic tube and the waxy smell it would give off. 3 years later, I received my first mascara, CoverGirl Natural Lash, from a friend as a friendship gift. Then my mother and aunt gave me a professional silver makeup case from Make Up For Ever for my 18th birthday.
Here’s another nostalgia: from an reinterpretation of Estée Lauder’s 1969 Azurée Fragrance comes Tom Ford’s exquisite 2007 Azurée special edition makeup collection that I just found in my closet. By the way, what did you think of A Single Man?
In this picture: The Lip in $4, The Cheek Glow in #2, Eye Duo in #3, and The Lacquer in #1.
